First word?

I don't have much experience with first words, the last one I remember was Rachel when she would point at the cat and say "gunk gunk". So, I'm not sure how legitimate the sound has to be to warrant the esteemed designation "word". See what you think. Oh and I should say- he does this with some frequency, so its not as if I just happened to catch it on tape.

  2. we need more science- like a control. Can you have Jerry say "what's this?" while holding a toothbrush or something?- Carrie

  3. Science? Pffft. Controls? Please.
Leading researchers have demonstrated that control experiments seeking to satisfy the "mind" will inevitably fall short of elucidating the inherent truthiness (S. T. Colbert et al). Appropriate control experiments are beyond the scope of this research and will only obfuscate the results that are otherwise self evident to one's own gut.

For example, one could argue that many objects do not resemble a traditional ball, like a football, however maintain the title. Additionally, some ultimate frisbee players call themselves "ballers" despite the well established fact that a ball is something they shun and avoid.

It is suggested that while watching the video the reader pay attention to what their gut is telling them, not their mind. Did you know there are more nerve endings in your gut than in your head?
